Audubon: Saturday morning spring walks kick off April 9

Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street will host Saturday morning spring walks, April 9, 16, and May 7, from 10:30-noon.

All ages, no strollers please

Explore the scenic trails of The Connecticut Audubon Society’s Larsen Sanctuary as it comes alive for spring! Our quest includes a welcome back to migrating birds, calling peepers and skunk cabbage. The trail is a flat, one-mile loop where we’ll roll logs in search of insects and salamanders too.

The walk begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street. All ages are welcome (no strollers please). Free for members and $3 for non-members. Advance registration required. Call 203-259-6305, ext. 109 to reserve your spot.

Visit Connecticut Audubon Society’s website at ctaudubon.org for a complete list of our upcoming spring programs and special events around the state.
