Great Futures Benefit Auction to raise funds for Wakeman Boys & Girls Club

Wakeman Boys & Girls Club will host their annual Great Futures Benefit Auction presented by EMCOR on Saturday, March 12, from 6:30-11 p.m., at the new Warehouse at the Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield. As the Club’s largest fundraising event, the Benefit Auction raises funds for Wakeman’s two Clubhouses in Fairfield and Bridgeport as well as its Outreach Program at McKinley School and more than 150 youth programs.

The event includes beverages and food catered by On The Marc Events, a silent auction with items that range from golf outings and jewelry to vacations and parties. Special guest and comedian Alexandra McHale will lead the live auction portion of the evening. During the evening guests will listen to live music by Fairfield band, FloodZone as well as hear directly from some of the youth who are supported by the many programs at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.

This event is generously underwritten by Elizabeth Pfriem.

Event Sponsors include: Presenting Sponsor, EMCOR, Gold Sponsor, People’s United Bank, and Bronze Sponsors, Encon and High Ridge Brands. Christine Cutler, event co-chair said, “We are extremely thankful for all of our sponsors, donors and guests. This fundraiser becomes more successful each year due to their support, and because of them, Wakeman is able to offer so much for the children in our community.”
