Christopher Plaskon, the 18-year-old Milford teen charged in the 2014 stabbing death of fellow student Maren Sanchez has made a plea of no contest in court today.

A 24-year-old Trumbull man was struck by a vehicle and killed early Sunday morning on Bridgeport Avenue in Milford.

A 16-year-old Darien High School student was taken into custody after the School Resource Officer was made aware of a video of the student brandishing a handgun, Darien Police said.

A 27-year-old Trumbull resident died from injuries he sustained in an accident that happened around 10:30 p.m. on Pumpkin Hill Road Friday, March 4.

Shelton Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect pictured involved a recent robbery in Shelton.

A lawsuit filed by the family of a 29-year-old Seymour nurse who died in February 2015 after undergoing minor elective sinus surgery at the North Haven Surgery Center  alleges that the center waited as long as 29 minutes to call an ambulance after Katherine O’Donnell’s blood pressure and pulse fell to critical levels on the operating table.

Milford police arrested a local teen, Chyna Lipnickas, 19, of Milford for the alleged repeated sexual assault of a juvenile victim in 2014 and 2015.

Monroe police stopped a Bridgeport man recently for a traffic violation, only to find he was wanted in Wilton.

Trumbull residents have spoken and the verdict is clear: Trumbull Day is better as a summer event.

Following the latest  Shelton Planning and Zoning board meeting, commissioners stuck to their guns with a consensus to write an “unfavorable action” in regards to Big Y’s proposal for an 800 square foot gas station attendant building to be located on the 405 Bridgeport Ave. property.
