Audubon: After-School Nature Club

The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, hosts After-School Nature Club for children in grades K-2 Thursdays, March 17 through May 26 (no class April 14), 3:45-5:15 p.m.

Are spring fever and excess energy a challenge for your household? The After-School Nature Club at the Connecticut Audubon Society may be the perfect remedy. As nature “springs” to life, we’ll take advantage of the warmer, longer days and head out on the trails of the Larsen Sanctuary to run, jump and explore, getting plenty of exercise and fresh air. The afternoon will fly by with fun hikes, meeting animals and playing games.

Arrive when school is over; we’ll provide a light snack. Be sure to wear appropriate shoes and clothing.

Program fee for the 10-week series: $108/child for CAS members; $144/child for non-members, (series price includes one free class). For more information visit www.ctaudubon.org/center-at-fairfield. Preregistration required; call 203-259-6305, ext. 109.
