LIBRARY: Work with a one-on-one with financial coach

Working one-on-one with a personal coach will empower you to gain the financial knowledge and skills you need to achieve your short and long term financial goals. Individual coaching will help you manage the way you feel and think about your finances. Using the support of personal financial coach Liz Krebs, you can create a budget, set financial goals, review your credit report and more. Beginning March 9, half hour coaching sessions will be available on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 10-noon. Coaching will take place in Study Room D at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Sign up for a 30-minute session through our website up to one week in advance, or by calling the Information Desk at 203-256-3160. Advance registration is required.

Liz Krebs is a Financial Education Coordinator at LifeBridge Community Services, a non-profit organization which helps empower people to build a brighter future by linking flexible, innovative and collaborative programs that develop skills and build pathways to economic self-sufficiency.

Money Smart Week @ your library is a partnership between the American Library Association and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago through which libraries provide financial literacy programs for all stages of life. Money Smart partners will be hosting their events April 23-30 this year, but at the Fairfield Public Library we are extending our programming throughout the month. Financial coaching will continue beyond April.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information on this and other programs, visit us online at: or call 203-256-3160. Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: and Facebook:
