Below are some of the stories we are following for Monday, Feb. 15:

A former Hartford resident was sentenced Feb. 11 to more than 10 years in jail for sex trafficking of minors at hotels in Stratford and Milford.

We are also hearing today that A power outage affecting sections of Grand Central Terminal is affecting Metro North train service in and out of New York City.

According to a Gallup poll,  Residents living in states with the highest aggregated state tax burden are the most likely to report they would like to leave their state if they had the opportunity. Connecticut and New Jersey lead in the percentage of residents who would like to leave their state.

Milford’s first hookah lounge took a long time to open. ” After about seven years of zoning issues, court battles and lots of renovations, Karout’s Olive Tree Hookah Lounge opened Jan. 16.

Leo Van Munching, Jr., who guided Heineken’s decades-long dominance in the US imported beer market, died February 14th after a long illness.  The Darien resident was 89.

The Wilton Police Department is investigating a Feb. 7 car accident in which a black Range Rover allegedly struck and knocked down the mailbox at 27 Deforest Lane and fled. This address is near the New Canaan border.

After New Canaan Town Hall workers were told they could leave the building for the day last Tuesday, Feb. 9, when a suspicious odor spread through the building, New Canaan First Selectman Rob Mallozzi III decided to reassure the employees that he was addressing the situation.

If the amount of money donated by Wiltonians determined the country’s next president, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton would be the winner.

It’s been another year of success for New Canaan’s Rich Riley. The CEO of Shazam Entertainment was just named #57 on the Billboard Power 100.
