CASTING CALL: Women of all ages welcome to participate in Fairfield play

Rosemary Foley

Rosemary Foley

Rosemary Foley, professional actress and award winning playwright, will produce a play, “Women When, Now and Tomorrow,” a look at how the changing mores of society affected the world of women at the Bigelow Center.

Women of all ages, willing to take a chance at acting, singing, adding her own attitudes and dialogue are invited to come to the Bigelow Center on Saturday, March 5, at 10 a.m. to learn about the plans for and commitment necessary for a real production at the Center. The play is planned to take place during the first or second week of November. There are no “auditions.” Anyone interested in and willing to commit to rehearsals is welcome.

Recently, Rosemary and her husband moved to Black Rock. The Bigelow Center is very fortunate that she is willing to make such a huge commitment to the Center and the players. The play isn’t polemic. It is incisive, provocative, and also very amusing. Think of it as one generation’s skeptical look at another’s.

The Bigelow Center is located at 100 Mona Terrace, Fairfield. To register in advance, call 203-256-3166. Please give name(s), phone, and age.
