Learn how to win your Oscar pool from the Fairfield Public Library

Wondering which films will win at the Oscars? Join us in the Rotary Room of the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at noon for a light-hearted hour of sparring about everything movies.

Find out which films should win and more importantly which films will probably win. Diverse topics including the return of the Star Wars franchise, women’s pay equity through nominated films and those films that were passed over for nomination will be topics of conversation.

The presenters for this hour are Nicole Scherer, Teen Librarian and Philip Bahr, Reference Librarian. They both consume a lot of media and have strong opinions on the topic of film they love to share. Advanced registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge. For more information and to register for this event call 203-256-3160, or visit us on the web www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org .
