Learn how to make organic fresh milled wheat bread

The Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road is hosting a class on making your own organic, fresh milled wheat bread on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m., in the Rotary Room.

Colleen Bell has been milling her own bread since 1990. She will explain the benefits of milling your own flour and demonstrate how to do it. She will then share a blue ribbon wheat bread recipe. Bring your apron and participate in this hands-on presentation. All participants will leave with a sample to bake at home.

Advance registration is required due to the limited space and supplies. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
