An Afternoon of Poetry and Prose at the Stratford Library

Fairfield University MFA candidates and alumni will read from their original works for An Afternoon of Poetry and Prose on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m., in the Lovell Room at the Stratford Library. The program is free and open to the public.

Faculty mentoring by award-winning authors and poets lead the MFA in the creative writing program at Fairfield University. Workshops with New York City editors and agents and residency options in Galway and Florence are also offered. For the Library program, students and alumni of Fairfield University’s MFA program in creative writing will be reading works of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

Among those taking part will be Hayley Battaglia, Sean Buckley, Dr. Ben Fine, Lynn Heinzmann, Ann McLellan Lardas, Loan Le, David LeGere, Mary Carrol Linder, Lizzie Louis, Anthony Perrotta, Katy V., Barbara Wanamaker and Taryn Williams.

Light refreshments will be served.
