Connecticut Tank Removal debuts the ‘Snow Melter’

As of recent times, town and city regulations have changed for snow removal and placement of the snow. Some cities and towns no longer allow for the large snow piles to be hauled to a location such as beach or municipal parking lots. For most companies, hauling and trucking the snow can become a costly expense.

To alleviate this issue, Connecticut Tank Removal Inc. (CTR) has acquired the solution of melting the snow as its removal process. This method is popularly used in airports and cities like New York City and Boston. As Connecticut’s premier snow melting service provider, CTR is excited to be able to provide this solution.
“We’re excited to expand our services that we provide to our community,” said CEO, Joseph Palmieri. CTR’s snow melter is the true work horse of the fleet, with the capacity of melting 60 tons of snow per hour! It’s 12 million BTU/hr burner can melt 300 cubic yards of snow per hour.”

CTR will be melting snow on Friday, Jan. 29, at the Fairprene Municipal lot on Mill Plain Road across from St. Thomas Cemetery in Fairfield, throughout the day. Observers are welcome after 10 a.m. for those interested in how the snow melting process works.

Connecticut Tank Removal Inc. is a full service environmental company committed to keeping the environment clean. CTR provides our services to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. For additional information on the services CTR provides, contact 203-384-6020 or [email protected]
