Trinity Catholic High School seniors receive early college acceptances

Members of the Trinity Catholic High School graduating class of 2016 had a spectacular December, with seniors receiving early acceptances to 60 different colleges and universities across 19 states and the District of Columbia. The list of prestigious institutions to date includes Duke, Fordham, Michigan State, Providence, Rutgers, Stonehill, Tulane and Villanova universities.’

In the closing weeks of 2015, seniors at Trinity Catholic, which is located on Newfield Avenue in North Stamford, were also awarded over $1.6 million in scholarships toward their college education.

“Trinity Catholic High School is committed to giving our students the best education and opportunity to succeed. We are proud of our seniors who have already been accepted to some of America’s best colleges and universities, and are looking forward to even more great news about our students college acceptances in 2016,” said Dr. Joseph Gerics, principal of Trinity Catholic High School. “These early scholarship awards demonstrate colleges’ high regard for our well-prepared students.”

Trinity Catholic High School students hail from 16 communities throughout Fairfield County (Danbury, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Westport and Wilton) and Westchester County (Bedford, Hartsdale, Mahopac, New Rochelle, Port Chester, Valhalla, White Plains and Yonkers).
