Tech Demo Class: Exploring the Library’s Digital Platforms

Did you receive some new tech presents over the holidays? Already have a tablet or smartphone, but unsure of how to download Library materials? Bring your eBook reader, tablet, or smartphone to the Library and learn how to download eBooks, eAudiobooks, and music to your device with your Fairfield Public Library card.

After a brief overview of OverDrive and Zinio, we will break into groups and guide you, hands on, through the simple process of downloading digital items. Please bring your Fairfield Public Library card and, if you are a Kindle user, your Amazon log-in email and password. Join us on Thursday, January 14 at 9:30 am in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Susan Zuckerman, Head of Reference, and Philip Bahr, Reference Librarian, will lead this program and show you how easy it is to access the Library’s digital resources 24/7, from wherever you are.

If you can’t make this program, don’t forget that the Library has a Tech Spot in the Teen Room at the Main Library every Friday morning at 11:00 am. Staff members are available for one-on-one tech support on any of our digital resource platforms.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information about this and other programs, visit us online at: or call 203-256-3160. Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: and
