CT Audubon Society hosts After-School Nature Club

The Connecticut Audubon Society, Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, will host an After-School Nature Club for children in grades K-2 Thursdays, Jan. 7-Feb. 25, from 3:45-5:15 p.m.
Is excess after-school energy syndrome a challenge in your household? The After-School Nature Club at Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield may be the cure. After a quick snack we’ll head out on the trails to run, jump and explore throughout the Larsen Sanctuary getting plenty of exercise and fresh air. Outdoors, as weather allows, we’ll search for tracks and other signs of where the animals go in winter. Indoors we’ll play games and conduct science experiments. The time will fly by!

Arrive at the Center when school is over; we provide a light snack. Outdoor clothing required.

The cost for the 8-class series is: $88/member; $120 nonmember. To reserve your spot, call 203-259-6305, ext. 109.
