Learn advanced resume techniques at the Fairfield Library

Haven’t written a resume in a while? Need to figure out how to make your resume rise to the top of the pile? Should you tailor your resume to a specific job?

Come learn the answers to these questions and more when a career counselor from the Connecticut Department of Labor offers expertise and tips on creating an advanced resume Monday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m., in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

This is our final Jobs series program this fall. Look for more Jobs programs beginning in mid- to late January.

This presentation is part of the Library’s award-winning Jobs series, now in its sixth year. The talks are supplemented by a LinkedIn networking group, one-on-one career counseling sessions, Job Search Boot Camp, podcast recordings of over 100 past presentations (www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org), and an updated collection of job-hunting books made available through a donation from the Rotary Club of Fairfield. Since January of 2012, 150 people who have attended Jobs series programs have reported they have found employment.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. For more information about this and other programs, visit us online at: www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
