Boy Scouts hold 51st annual Christmas tree sale

Fairfield’s Boy Scout Troop 82 will hold their 51st annual Christmas Tree Sale through Dec. 20. Trees and wreaths may be purchased Thursdays and Fridays, from 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the parking lot of The First Church Congregational (on the corner of Beach and Old Post Road, across from Town Hall).

Priced at $40 for any size tree, these trees will sell out. Every tree, wreath and bow purchased allows a Scout to participate in events and community service projects.

Troop 82 has been an active Boy Scout Troop since the 1920’s at The First Church Congregational in Fairfield, Connecticut, where it meets everyThursday evening. Troop 82 believes in learning while having fun. Scouts learn to be better American citizens, to develop the mental and physical skills needed for growth, and to follow a set of Scouting principles which build character and nurture personal values.
