Football: Ludlowe loses to Trinity Catholic

The Fairfield Ludlowe football team lost to Trinity Catholic, 37-20, in an FCIAC road game in Stamford on Saturday.

Coach Vin Camera’s Falcons fell to 1-4. Trinity Catholic is 4-1.

Javion Beasley scored on touchdown runs of 4 and 34 yards in the first half.

Eric af Petersens had a point-after kick following the first score and Ludlowe took a 13-8 lead into the half.

Trinity Catholic rallied back behind quarterback Nick Granata, who threw a pair of touchdown passes to Izaiah Sanders. Justin Greene ran for three touchdowns.

D.J. Augustin scored on a 53-yard run and Petersens had the PAT in the final period.

Ludlowe will be home to Greenwich High (3-3) on Friday night at 7 at Taft Field.
