Connecticut Sports Talk: Oct. 19

Rob Adams and Donald Eng begin the show by looking at some of the local football scores from the weekend. Trinity Catholic played at Ridgefield High School, and the guys show highlights of the Crusaders and Tigers, including a play that resulted in an injury to Trinity quarterback Anthony Lombardi.

At this point in the football season, it seems that the top four teams in line for the FCIAC Championship game are obvious, but what order are they in, and who stands in their way? It’s also time to start looking at the state playoff standings. Who is in and who has work to do?

Trinity Catholic head football coach Donnie Panapada stopped by FCIAC Game Day on Friday, and we replay that interview. Lastly, the guys take a quick peek at a few national notes and prepare for the FCIAC Cross Country Championship on Wednesday.
