Sleep Issues: Wellness Series at the Library

We all know the importance of sleep to our health, but as we get older, the restful night of sleep we knew as children often escapes us. Sleep expert Dr. Stasia Wieber will discuss normal adult sleep patterns and common sleep disorders. Treatment for sleep problems will be reviewed. This Wellness presentation will take place on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m., in the Memorial Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Stasia Wieber, MD is a sleep specialist with Fairfield County Sleep Center. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn and completed her residency and postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai Medical Center. In practice for over 15 years, she is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Wieber has published a number of articles on sleep disorders and has appeared on NBC’s “The Today Show” and “Nightline” discussing sleep issues.
