LETTER: District 4 RTM candidates seek support

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor:

As incumbent Representative Town Meeting (RTM) candidates from the new District 4, we are committed to Fairfield’s future in the form of sound decision-making — controlling taxes and spending while fighting for the values and services that make Fairfield a great place to live. Most importantly, we stand for responsible, balanced leadership that encourages and invites an informed and lively dialogue. Over the next few weeks, we will be reaching out to our neighbors via phone and mail and by knocking on doors to introduce ourselves to new constituents, catch up with familiar faces, and answer any questions.

We also invite you to follow us and engage year-round on Facebook (facebook.com/FairfieldRTMD4) and Twitter (@FfldRTMD4) to stay on top of the latest in news, events, resources and services for District 4 and the town of Fairfield.

Please note that your polling place may have changed as a result of the recent town redistricting. Not sure which district you’re in or where you vote? Visit the town’s “Where Do I Vote?” page on the town website: http://www.fairfieldct.org/content/10726/12538/12544.aspx.

For those of you in the new District 4, we look forward to seeing you at Stratfield School, 1407 Melville Avenue, on Nov. 3rd; polls are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information on registering to vote, securing an absentee ballot, or questions about specific polling locations and hours, contact the Registrar of Voters at 203-256-3115 or visit fairfieldct.org/vote.
