LETTER: Tymniak not qualified to be First Selectman

FI-Letter-to-the-EditorTo the Editor:

I note that Chris Tymniak has been telling the voters that his experience working in the Ansonia government qualifies him to be the Fairfield First Selectman. Yet recently the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development published its list of distressed municipalities.

Ansonia has, over the last three lists, gone from the seventh, to the fifth, to the second most distressed municipality in the state.

Apparently, now only Waterbury is in worse shape. Is this the credential of someone who is capable of leading this town? I think not.
