Fairfield Prep’s 39-6 win over Cheshire High was a wake-up call to future Southern Connecticut Conference opponents that coach Tom Davis’ gridders are back on the scene.
For the second straight game the Jesuits (4-1) knocked off one of the SCC’s perennial football powerhouses.
Prep took leads of 14-0, 21-6, 27-6 at each break to defeat the Rams (3-2).
