Help Giants help community

This season, the Fairfield Giants are participating in several Community Service programs.
Led by Michelle Bartlett,  the program is committed to helping local charities.
The Mite Mite Jr. football team and both Junior Pee Wee teams have joined together to hold a coat drive to support the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
Please donate gently used coats  — all sizes, any gender — by bringing them to practice or to one of the home games this weekend at Sullivan Field.
The Pee Wee team is in the third year of a program benifiting the children in the pediatric unit at Bridgeport Hospital.
For the past two years the team has held a Toy Drive in support of the Toy Closet at the Hospital.
Additionally, last year this team raised over $5,000 to help fund the program.
You can help this year by donating toys this weekend. Please donate new, unwrapped toys, books and art supplies.
There will be donation bins at the field during this week’s practices and during all home games this week and next.
Thanks again to all of our great sponsors for their support of the Fairfield Giants: Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sports Plex, D & M Landscaping, The Pantry, Old Post Tavern, William Raveis, Health Warrior, Robeks, Poland Springs, Law Firm of Victoria T. Ferrara, The OSG Medical Group and our partner Sports Image.
