Local and state dignitaries open 55th annual Pequot Library book sale

Local and state dignitaries will be on hand to help set off the cannon announcing the 55th annual Pequot Library Summer Book Sale beginning Friday, July 24, at 9 a.m.

Fairfield First Selectman, Michael Tetreau, Senator Tony Hwang, and State Representative Brenda Kupchick are confirmed to be among those in attendance.

Hours and pricing of book sale: Friday, July 24,9-7, double the marked price; Saturday, July 25, 9-6, priced as marked; Sunday, July 26, 9-6, priced as marked; Monday, July 27, 9-6, half the marked price; Tuesday, July 28, 9-2, $5 per bag per day.
