Fairfield County Bank and Save-A-Suit host suit drive to support veterans

Fairfield County Bank is currently hosting a suit drive for Save-A-Suit to help veterans. The Fairfield County Banks of 255 Tunix Hill Road and 1312 Post Road in Fairfield, will be collecting new or gently used suits, ties, and business attire throughout the entire month of July. All donations are tax-deductible.

Save-A-Suit is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to give back to veterans that have served our country. When veterans complete their military service they want to continue to lead a successful life by obtaining valuable jobs. Save-A-Suit helps make this goal more obtainable by providing military veterans with the proper business attire and confidence needed for job interviews.

“Getting a suit would be a blessing because it would enable me to look the part whenever I am in front of a potential employer.” —David Johnston, U.S. Army

Organizing suit drives allows Save-A-Suit to successfully aid thousands of veterans around the country and assist them on their path to a new job.

If you wish to donate business attire or make a monetary donation to help U.S. military veterans, stop by these branches during their hours of operation. Every $50 that is raised allows Save-A-Suit to send a suit, shirt, and tie to a veteran in need. No amount is too small or too big. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. You may also mail a check or money order to Save-A-Suit, Mailbox #2, 137 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, CT 06801, or make a donation online at Saveasuit.org.

Thank you for your generosity and for supporting the veterans.
