Learn about policing and working with animals

Meet Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara and Assistant Animal Control Officer Vinny Pennatto and learn about policing and working with animals in Fairfield Thursday, June 25, at 3:30 p.m., at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library.

Each community hero will read a story and share what they do every day to make our community a better place. This is a story time for children ages 2 to 8 accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Drop in; no registration is required.

Join us for this story time fun and don’t forget to sign up for this year’s Summer Reading program, “Every Hero Has a Story!” for children entering grades K-5 and the Junior Hero Summer Reading Program for pre-schoolers ages 0-5. Sign-up is easy, online or in person at the Library.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. For more information on this and other programs, visit fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160. Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: www.twitter.com/fairfieldpublib and Facebook: www.facebook.com/fairfieldlibrary.
