Summer clambake to benefit Operation Hope

The Welcome Club of Fairfield and Easton is gearing up for their annual Summer Clambake on Saturday, June 20, at 7 p.m., at the Jacky Durrell Pavilion on Penfield Beach in Fairfield.

Last year’s event was a huge success, boasting great food, great music, and great company, and this year promises to be no different. Once again, there will be dinner, dancing, and a fantastic Silent Auction and Raffle you won’t want to miss! All proceeds from the auction and raffle will benefit Operation Hope, our town’s local homeless shelter.

Catch up with old friends and meet new ones as you nibble on appetizers and dine on scrumptious delights, catered by Fairfield’s own Sea House Clambakes. Choose from fresh steamed lobster, grilled herb marinated chicken, rib eye steak, grilled teriyaki glazed swordfish, or grilled veggie kabobs. enjoy with baked stuffed clams, shrimp cocktail, corn on the cob, red-bliss potatoes, homemade coleslaw, fresh-baked brioche rolls, and of course drawn butter and lemon. Save room as there will be sweet treats for dessert. And remember, this is a BYOB event, so pack your cooler.

Don’t miss out on this fun-filled, adults only event. The cost is $40 member, $50 non-member. Also, raffle tickets will be on sale for our great prizes — $1 each or $20 for 25 tickets — with proceeds benefitting Operation Hope.

Space is limited, so send your RSVP, meal choice, and payment (via check) to: Welcome Club of Fairfield/Easton, P.O. Box 1404, Fairfield, CT 06825. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]
