Junior Women’s Club conducts June meeting

The Junior Women’s Club of Fairfield will hold its June general meeting Wednesday, June 10, at 7:30 p.m., at the Osborn Hill School Library, 760 Stillson Road, Fairfield.

In addition to a brief meeting covering upcoming club projects including Touch-a-Truck and the 50th Anniversary Celebration, there will be a “Kitchen Shower” for Alpha Community Services, the Club’s current charitable partner.

Members and attendees are invited to contribute to the Club’s Kitchen Supplies Drive to help outfit Alpha Community Services families moving into new homes. Plates, pans, utensils and tools are appreciated.

There also will be a Pampered Chef presentation by member Caryn Migorodsky, refreshments, and social activities as part of this “Junior Night.”

Open to women in Fairfield and surrounding towns, the JWC is a non-profit service organization that gives members the chance to make new friends while giving back to the greater community through social and personal enrichment programs, fundraisers, and local events.
