Registration underway for Unmasked — Teen Summer Challenge

School is almost out, and it is time to get ready for the annual Teen Summer Challenge. The Challenge is not just about reading, it is about discovering, creating, doing and volunteering.

Teens may register online at and set up an account. You can begin logging points by reading, watching movies, sharing recipes, creative writing, volunteering and creating art.

The more points you earn, the more chances you have to win prizes. Prizes, including gift cards, autographed books, new tech gadgets, collectibles and more, will be raffled off at the annual invitation-only finale party at the Library on Aug. 6. There will also be a weekly raffle for gift cards to local and online stores. The Unmasked Teen Summer Challenge is for teens entering grades 6 and up in the fall.

Read, learn and unmask something interesting about yourself this summer.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information on this and other programs, visit, or call 203-256-3160. Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter: and Facebook:
