Patricia Moore Sorrentino

Patricia Moore Sorrentino of Southport, beloved wife of Vincent Sorrentino, and daughter of the late Margaret and James Sullivan, passed away on October 05, 2012.

Pat was a graduate of Harding High School and the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing.

Affectionately known as “Peach,” she enjoyed music, art and theatre, playing bridge, travel, and spending time with her family.

Pat was a caring and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by those whose lives she touched by her kindness, companionship, and love.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Belliveau and her husband Dr. Timothy Belliveau of Stratford, Attorney Margarita Moore Bishop and her husband Attorney Timothy Bishop of Stratford, Justina Helkov and her husband Neils Helkov of Marietta Georgia, stepchildren Glynnis Carta and her husband Attorney John Carta of Essex, Grace Labbe and her husband James Labbe of North Kingston Rhode Island, and James Sorrentino of Branford.

In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren, whom she adored: Madison Bishop, Cameron and Olivia Belliveau, Lars Helkov, Jordan Kennis, Austin and Nicole Labbe.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Dr. John Hartley Moore.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 10th at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church 1719 Post Road Fairfield. Interment will be private. Abiding with Pat’s wishes the family has requested that calling hours be omitted.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Road Branford, CT. 06405 Funeral services have been entrusted to the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.
