Mitey Mites blank Danbury

The Fairfield Giants Mitey Mites defeated the Danbury Trojans, 21-0, on  Saturday in a hard-fought defensive battle.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Giants took control when Ronin O’Donnell plunged in the end zone from three yards out for the first of his two scores.
The Giants were in scoring position behind excellent blocking by Ethan Righter, Ryan Ginley, Colin Vigeant, Tyler Palumbo, Jack Martin and Tim Walton.
The strong defensive unit, led by Grady Golier, Jake Neff, Ryan O’Donnell, Joe Delia and John Moore, contained the Trojan offense, limiting them to only two first downs all day.

RJ Ihlefeld led all rushers.
