Police seek women in Sept. theft

Fairfield Police have released surveillance photos of suspects in a Sept. 21 theft at Apricot Lane Boutique, 1499 Post Road.

Two Hispanic females entered Apricot Lane with large bags and at separate times. One women continuously distracted sales people as the other stole 18 pairs of women’s jeans with a total of $3,114, according to police.

A sales person told police the women were recognized as they were responsible for a nearly similar incident at the store six months earlier.

Police are asking anyone with information about the women to call the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau at 203-254-4840, reference Case 12-30033.
