Lancers fall to Oxford

Notre Dame lost to Oxford High, 55-20, in a South-West Conference football game at McCarty Field on Saturday.
Tarik Bagley gave the Lancers (0-4) the lead with a 74-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
Oxford (3-1) scored the next five touchdowns to go in front 35-6, before Glody Tumba threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jalani Roman to make it 35-12 at the half.
After a scoreless third period, Oxford extended its lead to 55-12.
Notre Dame’s Antae Janvier found Roman for a nine-yard scoring pass and hit Jordan Pettway for the two-point conversion to complete the scoring.
