Chess Day at the Fairfield Public Library

Meet new friends, learn some new strategies, and enjoy a game of chess or two when the Fairfield Public Library hosts an afternoon of chess Sunday, May 17, 1:30-4:30 p.m., on the main floor at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

This event is for chess players at the average or intermediate level and is not intended for beginners. Please bring along your own chess set, if you can.

Chess is one of the world’s most popular games. It is played by millions of people in homes, urban parks, clubs, online, through correspondence, in tournaments, and in libraries.
