Stir Crazy: What does David Leite eat?

On this week’s Stir Crazy, host Patty Gay will talk to David Leite, cookbook author, NPR radio personality, and founder of the James Beard award-winning website, Leite’s Culinaria.

Leite (his name appropriately rhymes with ‘eat’) will discuss how to make home-smoked bacon, his favorite restaurants in Connecticut, and his upcoming memoir, Notes on a Banana: A Memoir of Food, Love, and Manic Depression.

Also joining in on the chat will be Jeff Schlesinger of CTBites.com who’ll tell us where to get the best burger in Fairfield County and the secret behind his recipe for mouth-watering short ribs.

Stir Crazy is a production of HANRadio and can be heard every Thursday, from noon to 1, on all Hersam Acorn websites and hanradio.com. Follow the show on Twitter @StirCrazyCT.
