Fairfield Woman’s Club holds 33rd annual craft fair

The Fairfield Woman’s Club will be holding its 33rd annual craft fair Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Town Hall Green, corner of Old Post Road & Beach Road, rain or shine.

The fair will feature more than 60 craftspeople and artisans as well as homemade baked goods, and a raffle booth. Food also will be available for purchase.

The proceeds from the fair enable the Fairfield Woman’s Club to fund an annual $2,500 scholarship for a local high school student and continue its support of the Arthritis Foundation, Connecticut Audubon Birdcraft Museum, the Fairfield Public Library, Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, HOBY, MADD, Special Olympics, and Homes For The Brave.

All area women over the age of 18 are invited to join the club which meets on the first Monday of each month from September through May; if interested, please feel free to approach our members at the fair, or write to: P.O. Box 461, Fairfield, CT 06824.
