Devlin has coffee with Fairfield residents

In her continued pledge to be accessible to Fairfield residents of the 134th district, State Rep. Laura Devlin hosted a “Coffee with your Legislator” event on April 24, at Panera Bread on Black Rock Turnpike to hear firsthand from residents and talk about state issues up for consideration this year. Residents met with Rep. Devlin to discuss a variety of issues that they would like to see the legislature address in the 2015 legislative session including concerns affecting transportation and the state budget.

Additionally, Devlin shared updates on issues in front of the committees she sits, the Finance, Revenue and Bonding, Transportation and Government Administration and Elections.

“I want to thank these residents that came by; I really value the opportunity to hear from constituents and nothing beats being able to meet face to face. Hearing their concerns and ideas enables me to best represent their voice in Hartford,” said Rep. Devlin.
