Teens: Survive the Apocalypse! an OBOT 2015 event

In honor of this year’s One Book One Town selection, Station Eleven, by Emily St. John Mandel, we are asking if you have what it takes to survive the end of life as we know it. This after-hours game will ask participants to work in teams to demonstrate the essential skills and strategies needed to thrive in a world without technology. Join us for a fun and thought-provoking event on Friday, March 20, from 6-8 p.m., at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. For teens in grades 6 and up. Registration is requested.

March is One Book One Town (OBOT) celebration month. Varied book talks, programs, and activities for all ages relating to Station Eleven are offered through the Library and our One Book One Town partners. This is Fairfield’s eighth year celebrating One Book One Town. To see the full list of programs, pick up the One Book One Town brochure at the Main or Woods branch libraries or click on the OBOT 2015 section on the Library’s website fairfieldpubliclibrary.org.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information about this and other programs, visit our website at: www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
