Mark Albertson will be discussing World War II: The Great Patriotic War and the Titanic Clash Between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union Thursday, March 19, at 7 p.m., in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. The lecture will focus on the decisive land campaign in World War II: The Eastern Front.

Albertson is the historical research editor at Army Aviation magazine in Monroe and is a longtime member of the United States Naval Institute. He is both an author and professor of history at Norwalk Community College.
