Celebrate CT Women in History

Mabel Osgood Wright

The Fairfield Public Library is hosting an interactive multi-media program fashioned by the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame, in honor of Women’s History Month Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m., in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

There are many well-known Connecticut women and lesser known heroines; Katherine Hepburn, Mabel Osgood Wright, Ella Grasso, Annie Leibovitz and many more. This presentation will introduce you to the Hall and give you a panoramic view of some of its 106 inductees from across all fields of endeavor, from politics and sports to the arts and sciences.

Advance registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
