Mary Edmonds All-State in girls hockey

Fairfield Ludlowe/Warde’s Mary Edmonds has been selected to the first-ever All-State team for girls ice hockey.

The All-State team is put together by the FCIAC and the SCC and will be recognized during the intermission between the state semifinal games on Wednesday, March 4, at The Rinks at Shelton. Those games are scheduled to begin at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Edmonds was also an All-FCIAC first-team choice and Fairfield Warde’s Paul Jalbert was co-coach of the year, along with Darien’s Jamie Tropsa.

Courtney Scheetz is a second-team All-FCIAC choice and Aniekaye Ficara was honorable mention.
