Obituary: Patricia Rose Murphy, 37, lifelong Fairfield resident

Patricia Rose Murphy, age 37, beloved daughter of Charles and Dorothy Murphy, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital.

She was a lifelong Fairfield resident and a graduate of Fairfield High School.

Patty enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and games of all kinds. She also spent time going to flea markets, crafting and making costume jewelry. The various pets she had over the years brought much joy to her, and one of her most memorable moments was when she had the opportunity to meet the NY Yankees.

In addition to her devoted parents, she is survived by her loving sister Laura Flores and her husband BB; niece Jillian Flores and nephew Daniel Flores; cousins Cheryl and Matt Reilly and their children, and Terence Murphy; aunt Barbara Markey and her cherished friend Scott McWain.

She was predeceased by a sister, Kelly Ann Murphy and godmother, Kathleen Pechkis.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be on Friday from 5 to 7 pm in the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road.
