Pause for Poetry at the Library

Do you love poetry? Would you like to remember favorite poems from school days and beyond? Would you like to learn more about poems and poets in a relaxed setting? Join us for a monthly poetry meeting where we will read and share poems together. Bring a few of your favorites to share or just come to listen. We will meet at noon on the third Tuesday of the month from February through June.

The first meeting is Tuesday, Feb. 17, at noon, in the Jennings Room at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Additional meeting dates are March 17, April 21, May 19 and June 16. The readings will be led by Fairfield Public Library program assistant, Barbara Slack. She majored in English at college and has been a poetry lover since childhood.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information about this and other programs, visit fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
