Obituary: Carole Sherman, 76, of Fairfield

Carole Sherman, age 76 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven.

Carole was born in New York City, one of two daughters to beloved parents Harry and Estelle Brown.

Carole Sherman is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Sherman, by her two devoted daughters, Deborah Boles and her husband Lanny, and Harriet Moriber and her husband Paul, by her adored sister, Sheila Piritzky, by her cherished grandchildren, Jason Boles and his wife Nina, Rachel Boles, Michelle Friedman and her husband Brian, Elissa Moriber, Mitchell Moriber, Phillip Moriber, Lydia Moriber, and Jarrid Moriber, by her great-granddaughter Michaela Friedman, by her nieces, Lana and Holly, by her cherished friend Carolyn Lakatos and by her treasured cousins and the many very special friends she made over her lifetime.

Carole was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose life was spent devoted to her family and friends.

Services will take place on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation Rodeph Sholom, 2385 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604, with interment following at the Rodeph Sholom Cemetery, 190 Kings Highway E., Fairfield.
