Snow early Friday to be followed by extreme wind chills

Snow that started falling about midnight Thursday, Jan. 29, is expected continue through about 7 to 9 a.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service is predicting an accumulation of about 1-3 inches of snow.

Friday is forecast to be windy and cold, with a high in the mid-30s, dropping down to the teens Friday night. However, wind chill values will make it feel more like -10 to -20 degrees overnight Friday.

Saturday looks to be clear but blustery. There is a 50% chance of more snow developing Sunday night into Monday.
