Social media for entrepreneurs: An expert panel

Too often, entrepreneurs and small business owners make bad social media decisions due to lack of good information and a lack of context. This program provides insights from a panel of experts. Connect the dots between the many possible social media channels, learn about some you may not be aware of, and find out which social media will work for your business.

Discover which social media give the best Return on Investment (ROI) for business; find your “Big Five”, the ones that best fit your particular segment; find out if social media connects with your larger marketing plan; if social media can replace the need for a website; how social media can help you control and manage your business’ online reputation; and what’s the best way to get your customers to help your brand go viral.

This program will meet Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m., in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

A panel of social media experts with insights from their experience will be moderated by Brock Hotaling, Chairman the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of SCORE and a professional consultant and speaker on marketing technology.

This talk is part of the Small Business Strategies series for current and prospective entrepreneurs, presented through a partnership with the Greater Bridgeport Chapter of SCORE, a non-profit dedicated to helping small businesses succeed through education and mentorship.
