Fairfield Ludlowe HS evacuated due to smoke

Thursday, Jan. 15, 11:30 a.m.: Students are back in classrooms taking exams after smoke from a heating unit was pumped into the school Thursday morning.

Thursday, Jan. 15, 10:45 a.m.: A fire at Fairfield Ludlowe High School Thursday morning was contained to a ventilation unit, according to a tweet from Fairfield Firefighters.

Students and staff were evacuated after smoke filled the music room area around 1o:30 a.m.

Those inside the high school are being moved to Roger Ludlowe Middle School, across the parking lot and athletic field from the high school.
