Brooklyn artist Adrian Landon has his work on display at the Fairfield Art House as part of an ongoing exhibit.

Landon’s equestrian-themed works have been displayed throughout the world, and his sculptural piece Apocalypto – a part of the exhibit — is a member of that series. Its medium is anvil-shaped stainless steel.

His method of sculpting is known as “repousse,” where flat pieces of sheet metal, mainly steel and stainless steel, are stretched and shrunk into forms, by hammering with various shaped tools.

Fairfield Art House is located at 28 Reef Road, Fairfield, and is sponsored by Atlantic Homes.
