Bryce Keblish to swim at University of Virginia

Bryce Keblish from Fairfield Prep will swim at the University of Virginia. Keblish singed his National Letter of Intent at the school on Friday, Nov. 14.
A standout athlete and leader, Keblish of Fairfield has emerged as one of the top swimmers in Prep’s history setting multiple team, league and state records.
In 2012, he was an instrumental member of the Prep team that would claim the SCC, Class LL and State Open titles.
In 2013, Keblish achieved All-American status as a member of the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays.
In 2014, he had one of the best individual seasons in Prep history, achieving All-SCC and All-State honors for the third consecutive year, was an All-American in two individual events (200 IM, 100 butterfly) and two relays (200 freestyle, 400 freestyle).
Keblish won the State Open title in the 100 butterfly, set a Class LL state record in the 200 IM and swam the third leg of the State Open winning 200 freestyle relay that set a CIAC record and was sixth-best in the country.
Keblish also competes for the Westport YMCA Water Rats swimming team, where he is a Junior National Qualifier and a 7-time finalist at the YMCA National Championships.
In 2012, Keblish was on the Prep varsity soccer team that was runner-up at the Class  LL state championship.
Keblish is in the National Honor Society and serves as a peer tutor on campus and at the Shehan Center in Bridgeport.
He has also volunteered at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club and was a founding member of the Fairfield Chapter of Scholars & Athletes serving others.
