Police seek public's help in identifying ATM robber

On Wednesday, Nov. 5, Fairfield police released photos of one of the suspects in an ATM robbery earlier in the month.

Police said that on Oct. 18, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a Fairfield man was approached by two other men while walking on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport.

The men, who reportedly spoke with an Ecuadorian accent, allegedly threatened the victim, told him they knew where he worked, and demanded that he go to his bank and withdraw all of his money.

The victim told police he walked to the Bank of America branch located at 1320 Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield, while being followed by the men, one of whom is shown in the still photos released by police from surveillance video.

The victim said he withdrew $800 in cash, which he gave to the men.ATM3
